  Yes, the South Dakota Annual Meeting is only days here are a few final pieces of information:

  1)  The agenda for our Annual Meeting has been prepared.

  2)  There is major construction happening in Brookings.  Exit 132 and 

       much of 6th Street are under constructions.  Try to avoid both if 

       possible.  If you are coming from the north, we'd recommend you 

       enter Brookings via exit 133.  If you are coming from the south,

       we'd recommend you enter Brookings via exit 127 (Elkton exit).

       Please know that best routes for travel are changing daily, so it 

       is hard to provide more guidance at this time.

   3)  In preparation for our Tri-Conference Round-table on Saturday

        afternoon you may want to review the following documents:


4)  Our Sunday morning worship will be a celebration of Pentecost.

We invite/encourage everyone to wear something RED.

The meeting will feature a dynamic keynote speaker, the Reverend Christina Davies, Coordinator of the United Church of Christ Office for Congregational Assessment, Support and Advancement (CASA).  Chris will offer us a keynote address and preach during Saturday's worship.

  • Conference Minister's Remarks

  • Opening Worship celebrating our Tri-Conference Covenant.  The Reverend Cameron Barr, Pastor of Grinnell, Iowa, UCC and member of the Tri-Conference Board Preaching.  Placerville Praise Band providing music.

  • Keynote address by the Reverend Chris Davies

  • Workshops

  • Worship with the Reverend Chris Davies Preaching and a celebration of the Sacrament of Communion

  • Banquet

  • Sunday morning worship with the Reverend Gordon Rankin, Conference Minister, preaching.

  • Plus, a few other suprises

Registration for the Annual Meeting: 

The Conference Office needs to receive all registration forms by May 15th.

* Please know that we will not be electing an Executive Conference Minister at our Annual Meeting.  That election will take place at a Special Conference Meeting to be held in the fall.
